Good Works Life Recovery House was officially licensed on May 1, 2014.
Primary funding sources remain Carelon (formerly Value Behavioral Health), CCBHO, PerformCare, and Magellan Health.

Since welcoming our first client on 1/19/15, over 470 women have been admitted to our program. We serve the following counties in the Carelon network: Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Crawford, Mercer, Venango, Fayette, Westmoreland, Indiana, Washington, and Lawrence. In 2017 we also began serving Cambria County, a member of the Magellen Network. Through PerformCare, we serve the Capital Counties, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster and Lebanon. We were also recently awarded a contract with Community Care (CCBH) which includes the following counties: Allegheny, Bedford, Blair, Greene, Lycoming-Clinton, Somerset and NorthCentral (Bradford, Cameron, Centre. Clarion, Clearfield, Columbia, Elk, Forest, Huntington, Jefferson, Juanita, Mckean, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Potter, Schullkill, Snyer, Sullican, Tioga, Union, Warren, Wayne).

Our program is supported by valuable partnerships with Fayette County Drug and Alcohol Commission, Fayette County Behavioral Health Administration, Community Action, Career Link, The Salvation Army of Uniontown, Domestic Violence, SPHS, Center of Excellence, CareerLink, Penn State Co-op, Private Industry Council, Dress for Success of Pittsburgh, St. Vincent De Paul, Woodforest Bank, Adagio Women’s Health, Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force. Fayette County Health Department and several local churches.
We stive to provide our clients with many recreational activities including visiting local parks such as Ohiopyle and Coopers Rock, Duda’s Farm & pumpkin patch, Laurel Caverns, Jumonville, Kennywood, and more. We also host guests and specialists who come in to teach classes such as nutrition, health, financial management, fitness, arts & crafts and more with the women.
At various intervals of treatment, clients have completed anonymous satisfaction surveys. Results remain favorable.
