GOOD WORKS              LIFE RECOVERY HOUSE

The Life Recovery House is a women's Halfway House in Uniontown, Fayette County, PA.

We are located south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, only moments from the beautiful Appalachian mountains, and close to many activities such as Falling Water, Laurel Caverns, Jumonville Cross, Ohiopyle and more. Our area has a strong community of women in recovery who you will meet at our in-house and off-site meetings and events. A life of sobriety CAN and SHOULD be enjoyable. Give us a chance to show you how.

One of the most important factors to consider when choosing your transitional living is staff. Our staff is caring, compassionate, and many have been in your shoes. They are available 24 hours a day, because we understand that recovery happens around the clock. Our focus is to offer encouragement and support to our residents, and to find helpful solutions for any situation that may arise in your early recovery, and the ability to form positive coping skills to resist the temptations of chemical dependency.

Our program is different because we are faith-based. GWLRH clients get the chance to build a closer and more personal relationship with God and experience divine forgiveness and grace. In your time with us, we will help you focus on YOU and your recovery. We have helped many women learn how to walk with God on their personal journey to healing and recovery. And now we welcome YOU. Come grow spiritually and embrace restoration and sobriety with us at Good Works!
